HO Scale Arrow I MU Electric Cars

Photo of assembled kit

The Arrow I MU cars were ordered as replacements for the aging MP54's in use on the Trenton Line to Penn Station. Built by St. Louis Car Co, they were the most advanced cars of their time, and were the basis for successive fleets of Arrow II and III cars. They ran well up until the late 1970's, when they were pulled from service and stored. In the mid 1980's, they were rebuilt as push-pull cars, in which state they currently serve.

This kit was first produced by IHP in 1997 but has not been available for several years. We are reissuing it now with an interior, a dummy Stemman pantograph, and some other small refinements.
